Hi there, I'm Carrie!

With over 18 years of teaching, I’ve honed the art of clear communication, building meaningful relationships, and connecting with people of all ages—especially tiny humans with big imaginations. Those same skills guide the way I work behind the camera. I love creating a relaxed, fun space where real moments unfold naturally, helping you feel comfortable, laugh, and shine in front of the lens. My classroom experience allows me to capture these moments—just with a camera in my hand instead of a lesson plan. :)

I’ve always loved the little things—the soft moments, the quick glances, the tiny details that make a memory come alive. Even before I had a camera in my hand, I was capturing snapshots in my mind. And when our memory fades, photographs gently bring those moments back. Think of flipping through Grandma's photo albums: -- wedding photos that still make your heart flutter

I believe everyone deserves to treasure their special milestones and everyday joys. Whether it’s the happy tears of a bride, the quiet confidence of a senior about to take on the world, or the playful, unscripted moments that happen during a family session, I want to capture the real stuff—the honest emotion that tells your story.

I know being in front of a camera can feel awkward or intimidating. My goal is to create a relaxed, comfortable space where you can simply be yourself. No stiff poses, no forced smiles—just you, your people, and the moments that matter most. And hopefully, we’ll share a few laughs along the way.

The Beautiful Chaos That Makes My Life Mine

At home, I’ve been married to my amazing husband for over 25 years, and we are blessed with a wonderful adult son who’s still joyfully figuring out how this whole ‘life’ thing works. We also have a Labrador dog who is quite certain that WE live in HER house. (Honestly… she might be right.) Life gets a little wild sometimes, but that’s the joy of family, right?

I can’t wait to help you capture the little things you’ll want to remember always.

About the HELP

Howdy, I'm Phil and I can lift heavy things.

My specialties include hauling phones, purses, bags, water bottles, and whatever else magically appears during a photo shoot. If you spot someone wandering around with an armful of random items, that’s probably me.

The Tech Wizard Behind the Lens

I’m also the resident tech guy—officially the Director of Technology at a Tucson school, and unofficially the one who makes sure all of Carrie’s beautiful photos and messages actually get sent, posted, saved, and backed up. I’m the behind-the-scenes “back office” person… you know, the one pushing buttons and trying to look useful.

Carrie takes the pictures; I handle the wires, screens, and heavy lifting.

Oh, and we’ve been married for well over 25 years—so at this point, I’m definitely not going anywhere. Wish me luck
